- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter*
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/3 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup oat flour*
- 2-3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon milk*, any milk will work
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chunks, you can also use a chopped dark chocolate bar
Sift the sugars into a large mixing bowl, then add the butter and mix with an electric hand mixer or stand mixer until soft and fluffy, then mix in the vanilla and salt.
Sift in the flour and cocoa powder together, about 1/4 of a cup at a time and continue mixing until all ingredients are fully combined, add the milk and mix again until desired consistency is reached. Then fold in the chocolate chips and chocolate chunks using a rubber spatula.
Enjoy right away or add your favorite toppings!
- If you use salted butter, you don't need to add more salt
- All purpose flour can be subbed for all oat flour, but you will need to heat treat it first by placing it in the oven for 5 minutes at 350 F.
- Add more milk if you want this to be more like a dip. I use oat milk, but any will do!
