Peel the bananas, place them in a medium bowl and mash them with a fork until you get a smooth consistency without lumps.

Add the vanilla extract and melted butter and whisk until well combined. Then whisk in the sugar and egg. Next, use a strainer to sift the flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and baking soda. Then add salt and whisk until well combined.

Grease the loaf pan with butter or cooking oil and pour in the batter.
Place the loaf pan in the air fryer basket and cook for 35 minutes, until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
Remove the banana bread from the air fryer basket and place it on a cooling rack and let it cool for 15-20 minutes before slicing and serving.

Try adding walnuts, chocolate chips, or strawberries for a different variation!
I know lots of people struggle with watery banana bread, but if you mash the bananas in a fine mesh strainer and let it drain over the sink it will get rid of a lot of extra moisture!
