Add the steak strips, 1/2 tbsp of olive oil, half the fajita seasoning, and half the lime juice to a mixing bowl. In another bowl, add the red pepper, red onion, remaining lime juice, olive oil, and fajita seasoning. Toss until well combined.
Place the steak, peppers, and onions in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes, tossing halfway through. Cook until the steak is cooked to your liking and the veggies are tender and charred around the edges. I like to cook the steak on one side and veggies on the other just in case one happens to cook faster than the other, it’s easier to remove that way.
Serve with a squeeze of lime and chopped cilantro over top.
Notes
Serve your fajitas in tortillas or taco shells, and add optional toppings like sour cream, lettuce, homemade salsa, refried beans, shredded cheese, or some authentic guacamole.
Low-Carb Option: Serve them over cauliflower rice or in lettuce wraps.
If you have time, marinate the steak in the fridge for 1 hour for maximum flavor.
