Instructions
Bake fries according to package instructions.
2 20 oz bags frozen waffle fries
Meanwhile, in a large mixing bowl, combine the whipped cream cheese, mayo, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay, and lemon juice. Next fold in the crab meat, half the cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese with a rubber spatula. Careful not to break up the crab meat!
6 oz cream cheese, 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 tablespoon old bay seasoning, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1/2 pound jumbo lump or lump crab meat, 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
When the fries are done, decrease the oven temperature to 350° F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Pile the baked fries onto the parchment paper lined sheet pan and top with the crab mixture. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the crab mixture is heated through. *Optional: Once the crab mixture is heated through, broil for 1-2 minutes (keeping any eye on it) to crisp the edges of the fries and brown the cheese.
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Transfer the crab fries to a serving dish or serve right on the sheet pan. Garnish with scallions.
3 tablespoons scallions
