Roasted Cabbage Steaks are tender with caramelized insides and crispy and flavorful on the outside. This quick and easy recipe is perfect as a main dish, or pair it with your favorite protein for a great side dish.
Thoroughly spray a baking sheet with cooking spray and set it aside. Then, preheat your oven to 400℉.
Whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and ground pepper in a small bowl and set aside.
Wash the cabbage and remove any loose leaves. Place it on a cutting board and cut off the bottom end. Then, slice the cabbage into 1-inch thick slices.
Place the sliced cabbage on the baking sheet in a single layer. Make sure to place them flat, in a sinlge layer. Use two baking sheets or work in batches if they don't all fit on the same baking sheet. Then brush the cabbage slices with the olive oil mixture on both sides.
Bake the cabbage steaks for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through or until golden brown and crispy on the edges.
To serve, transfer the cabbage steaks to a platter and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley on top.
