Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, carrots, and celery. Cook for about 8 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften.

Pour in the vegetable broth and add the tomato paste, turmeric, diced tomatoes, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil.
