Preheat the air fryer to 350° F. Lightly spritz both sides of the wings with cooking spray and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder to taste.
1 pound chicken wings, salt and pepper, 1/4 teaspoon paprika, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
When the wings are finished cooking, place them in a large mixing bowl and toss with the Hot Honey Buffalo Sauce.
1 cup buffalo sauce, 1/4 cup honey
Place the wings back in the air fryer basket and cook for 2-3 minutes until sauce has caramelized. Transfer wings to a plate and serve with ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing.
Hot Honey Buffalo Sauce
While the wings are cooking, melt butter over medium-low heat in a small saucepan until bubbly, then add honey and stir until ingredients are completely mixed. Once bubbly, add hot sauce and stir constantly over low heat until fully combined.

Notes
Homemade Sauce: I used my own Hot Honey Buffalo Sauce for these wings, and while you can absolutely use your favorite store-bought version, I highly recommend giving this one a try. It’s a go-to in our house and always a hit!Watch the Butter: Butter can burn fast, so keep the heat low and stir frequently while making the sauce. Don’t walk away—just a few extra seconds can take it from golden to scorched.Cook in Batches: If your air fryer isn’t big enough to lay the wings out in a single layer, cook them in batches. Crowding them will steam the wings instead of crisping them up.Season First, Sauce After: Always season the wings before cooking, and save the sauce for the end. This helps keep your air fryer cleaner and prevents the sauce from burning during the cook time.Extra Heat Tip: For a little extra kick, I like to drizzle hot honey over the wings right before serving. Sweet, spicy, and sticky. It is so good!
