Ingredients

  • 1 avocado
  • 1 cup Mexican crema, or sour cream
  • 2 limes, juice and zest
  • 1/4 cup cilantro
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • optional: 1 garlic clove

Instructions

  • Place avocado, crema, lime juice and zest, cilantro, salt, and pepper in a food processor.
  • Blend on high until ingredients are combined and a smooth and creamy sauce has formed.
  • Serve on fish tacos, shrimp taco bowls, or with seafood.

Notes

  • If you want to add a little kick to your sauce, add a serano pepper!
  • A mini food processor is perfect for flavorful sauce recipes like this.
