Air Fryers are everyone’s new favorite appliance. I was skeptical at first. In fact, I didn’t use my air fryer for an entire year after purchasing it!
Fast forward 3 years, and it’s pretty much the only appliance I use.
They heat up faster than an oven and cook things way quicker. Air fryers use minimal oil and are super easy to clean.
Did you know you can reheat your leftovers in the air fryer? Try reheating a pizza or panini. Ahhhhmazing!
Air fryers cook food quickly by circulating hot air around it, using a the convection mechanism. It’s very similar to a convection/toaster oven.
They use minimal to no oil at all which significantly lowers the amount of fat and saturated fat in the food you are cooking. You might need a spritz here and there or in some cases, maybe spray the pan before adding food, but otherwise they are basically oil free!
Deep fried foods are high in calories and fat because of the breading/batter and the amount of oil used. Since air fried food hardly uses any oil, it’s much healthier than deep fried food.
