This Homemade Trader Joe’s Bruschetta Sauce is full of fresh and vibrant ingredients. Packed full of flavor, this sauce is great to add to just about anything.

I like to use it in my pasta recipes, salads, and on top of toasted bread to make the perfect “pizza”!

Trader Joe’s Bruschetta Copycat

This is my go to when I know that I am going to have a busy week because you can use it for so many different recipes. While it does use “summer ingredients,” I find myself making this homemade bruschetta sauce year round.

This is a great recipe for a party or a family get together. I like to put a little bit on top of toasted bread for an easy appetizer. You can also place it on top of a salad as an alternative salad dressings for a healthy side dish.

Keep in mind this recipe is a little chunkier than Trader Joe’s classic bruschetta sauce, but you can easily make it a little more “saucy” if you pulse the ingredients in a food processor or blender and keep some of the flesh from the tomatoes.

What is Bruschetta sauce?

Trader Joe’s bruschetta topping is packed full of Italian flavors and can be added to just about any dish. Traditional bruschetta is made with Roma tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, fresh basil, and yummy aged balsamic vinegar.

The sweetness of the Roma tomatoes pairs perfectly with the rich flavors of the balsamic vinegar, making this a great healthy sauce.

Trader Joe’s Bruschetta Sauce Ingredients

Tomatoes: for this recipe, I like to use Roma tomatoes because the flavor is slightly sweet, which pairs nicely with the balsamic vinegar.

Fresh basil: you can pick up fresh basil at any local grocery store. Make sure that you use fresh basil, dried basil won’t work as well for this sauce.

Garlic: minced garlic cloves bring all of the Italian flavors together in this sauce. I recommend using fresh minced garlic rather than dried garlic because the flavor is much more fresh and potent.

Olive oil: I like to use extra-virgin olive oil for this recipe. I don’t recommend using coconut, vegetable, or canola oil because it will mess with the flavor. However, you can substitute it with avocado oil if you need to.

Balsamic vinegar: I use aged balsamic vinegar for this recipe. The rich, sweet and sour flavor goes together perfectly with the tomatoes and basil in this recipe.

You can also use white balsamic vinegar for this recipe.

Trader Joe’s Bruschetta Sauce Recipes

Burrata Toast is one of my favorite easy Trader Joe’s meals. It’s simple and only uses a handful of ingredients. This boujie toast recipe is a great way to use homemade bruschetta sauce to create a delicious “fancy pizza.”

Are you looking for a four ingredient meal? This Trader Joe’s Burrata Corn Ravioli is easy to make and is a great recipe for lunch or dinner. I like to use TJ’s Sweet Corn, Burrata & Basil Ravioli, but this recipe works well with most premade raviolis.

One of my favorite dinners to make is Bruschetta Pasta. It uses fresh ingredients to create a delicious healthy meal. I top mine with Trader Joe’s grilled balsamic chicken, making it the perfect quick weeknight meal.

Another one of my favorite four ingredient meals is this Balsamic Chicken & Cauliflower Gnocchi recipe. This is my go to when I am not wanting to cook too much but still want a delicious meal.

The Trader Joe’s bruschetta sauce is full of fresh flavors, which pairs perfectly with the balsamic chicken.

You can also use it as a dipping sauce with chips!

Where is the bruschetta sauce at Trader Joe’s?

You can find Trader Joe’s Bruschetta Sauce in the refrigerated section at TJ’s. This sauce will need to be kept in your refrigerator and is perishable.

Keep in mind Trader Joe’s also has a canned or jarred bruschetta sauce that is on a shelf in the dry goods aisle near the pasta sauce. The jarred version of the bruschetta sauce isn’t the one this recipe copycats.

How long is bruschetta sauce good for?

Because this recipe doesn’t have any preservatives in it, it will only keep for about 2-3 days. I recommend storing it in your fridge in an airtight container or jar.

There are so many ways that you can use your leftover bruschetta sauce. You can pair it with an egg hash bowl in the morning or put it on top of your salad or toast for lunch.

There are many different ways to use it for dinner, but my favorite is putting it on top of my favorite pasta recipe. I’ve also tried adding it to my Pea Pesto Tomato Crostini recipe and it’s delicious!
