An easy broccolini recipe with only three ingredients that your family will beg for! Get it on the table in less than 10 minutes!

Broccolini is one of those vegetable side dishes that goes with anything and is constantly requested in my house. It’s great for any time of year, but especially nice because Spring is finally here and we’re always looking for lighter recipes around that time. Broccolini in a silver skillet with a striped towel

This easy 10 minute broccolini recipe is pan-seared and flavorful it’s the best way to make delicious pan fried baby broccoli, ever! It’s full of flavor, never bitter, and requires minimal effort.

Broccolini vs broccoli

What’s the difference between broccoli and broccolini? Well, they’re similar and come from the same family, but broccolini is a hybrid between broccoli and Chinese broccoli. It has long stems and small florets.

Broccolini has a mild, earthy taste compared to the more bitter taste of broccoli. Do you prefer broccoli or broccolini?

If you love broccolini as much as I do and want to try a different way of making it, try cooking it on a salt block with halibut.

This broccolini recipe is Whole30 approved and something you won’t get tired of because it’s that good. I love Whole30 recipes because I know that if a recipe is Whole30 compliant, I am eating fresh and whole ingredients.

Plus this easy broccolini recipe goes with just about anything and everything, so why not serve Broccolini with Marcona Almonds next to every dish you make?

There’s something about the sound of marcona almonds that just sounds so fancy to me.

So, marcona almonds. I love these little guys. They have an insane amount of flavor. They’re the most smooth and creamy almonds I have ever had.

I have a serious thing for marcona almonds. My Dad introduced me to them a few years ago and now I snack on them regularly and add them to recipes whenever I can, like this one and this Vegetarian Black Truffle Carbonara.

If you’re really trying to fancy up this dish, try adding a sprinkle of truffle salt before serving.

Healthy ingredient swaps

To keep this recipe Whole30 compliant, I used Filippo Berio’s Olive Oil. Many people prefer to cook with butter because it adds lots of flavor, but it also adds a lot of calories and cholesterol that our bodies don’t need!

I swap butter for olive oil in recipes all the time because it is always the healthier alternative. Plus, with Summer around the corner, we’re working on on our beach bods!

Broccolini makes an excellent low carb side dish. It’s versatile, quick, and delicious! If you’re looking for an easy to make vegetable side dish with lots of flavor, add this broccolini to your weekly rotation!

I have never tasted marcona almonds before and glad to learn it here. First I need to find how is the taste of marcona almonds, hope to find them in local nuts stores here.

    1. I would say they are sort of creamy and รขโ‚ฌล“softerรขโ‚ฌย than a typical almond or nut. They are usually รขโ‚ฌล“marinatedรขโ‚ฌย in a little bit of olive oil. I’m not sure what you have around you, but I get them at Trader Joe’s (my fav) and Whole Foods.
